Clint Facey

Actor, fasting mentor and iridologist. A man who was handed a script, and refused to read it.

The script

Clint grew up in Dubbo, in central-west New South Wales, and built a career as an actor. You may have seen him on Home and Away, All Saints or Lawless: The Real Bushrangers. He knows what it means to be handed a script and told to play the part.

In his twenties, he was handed a different kind of script. A cancer diagnosis, and with it the usual path: surgery, chemo, and a lifetime of management.

He walked away from the conveyor belt. Instead he rebuilt his health with fasting, real food, sunlight and common sense, and paid close attention to what his body did when he finally gave it a chance.

The work since

What he found changed the direction of his life. Clint trained as an iridologist and became a fasting mentor, and has spent years helping other people prove their bodies were never broken, just buried.

Life’s Elixir is that experience, written down. It isn’t a polite book, and it doesn’t pretend to be one. It is honest about doctors, about alcohol, about food, and about how much of our health lives in the mind and the nervous system.

“The work is the reward.”

Clint’s motto, on screen and off

Work with Clint

Clint is available for podcast interviews, speaking, and one-to-one fasting mentoring. If you’re a reader with a question about the book, he’d like to hear from you too.
